Drew Blythe Barrymore, born 22nd February 1975 is an American actor, director, and producer. She also hosts a talk show, host and is an author. She is part of the Barrymore acting family. She has won numerous awards and nominations such as an award for a Golden Globe Award as well as the Screen Actors Guild Award. There were also nominations for seven Emmy Awards, and a British Academy Film Award. In 2004, she earned a star in the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Her name was well-known as a child actor thanks to her role in E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. After a very publicized childhood filled with alcohol and drug abuse, she wrote an autobiography Little Girl Lost. She was a part of several films that made it through the 90s and 2000s, among them Charlie's Angels. Barrymore and Adam Sandler starred in the films The Wedding Singer 50 First Dates Blended, and Other films she has appeared in include Firestarter, Donnie Darko, Riding in Cars with Boys, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, Fever Pitch, Music and Lyrics, Going the Distance, Big Miracle, and Miss You Already. She was also in her directorial debut film Whip It. Grey Gardens was her first film. She won an Screen Actors Guild Award, as well as a Golden Globe Award. She was a part of the Netflix series Santa Clarita Diet and currently hosts her talk show on syndicated The Drew Barrymore Show.
