Jana Kramer became famous on the television show, playing Alex on One Tree Hill's last three seasons. The first of Jana Kramer's country albums were featured on episodes of One Tree Hill, helping to propel her debut album of 2012 to in the Top 20 of the Billboard 200. With help from the Top Five country hit I Got the Boy as well as the duet she did featuring Steven Tyler of Aerosmith it did even better, reaching the top spot of three on the country album chart, and tenth on the Billboard 200. In September the singer was a part of two weeks participating in season 23 of Dancing with the Stars, that ended in fourth place. That same year, the song It's like Christmas featuring Straight No Chaser was an enormous adult contemporary success.
